Hiya, we are the Doncaster crew. We work for Doncaster Children’s Services Trust. We are really excited to be delivering the Housing Project as we know what a difference it can make to young people leaving care. You can find out a bit more about us by clicking on our profiles below.
I have worked with Looked After Children for 12 years, supporting children up to the age of 16 and their families. It always crossed my mind what had happened to the young people when they left care and moved on with their lives, what support they would get and where they would end up if they didn’t receive the support of family. With this in mind, I wanted to do more by giving young people the same opportunities as any other young person looking to embark on the next chapter of their life. I’m passionate about working towards breaking the cycle that is seen all too often within the care system and provide the tools and knowledge each young person deserves and is entitled to in order to reach their full potential and fulfil their dreams and ambitions.
